Traditional rugs with a modern twist

Tastefully playful with a historical touch – these rugs bridge the gap between past and present. Add character to the room with designs inspired by traditional patterns, and colour themes ranging from classic to contemporary. While the heritage look evokes a sense of being part of a bigger narrative, make the story yours by adding your own objects and unique style.

Tips from our designers

“There are endless directions to take outside the traditional antiques- and vintage look. For a modern upgrade, balance the traditional style with the personal and unique. Be playful and mix styles from different eras, or add eye-catching objects with a story behind. Embrace contrasts by upholstering the vintage sofa with an avant garde fabric or paint a rococo piece in a bright colour. Celebrate the grandparent style, with your own take.”
