Ontwerp

The design features a bold, geometric layout that plays with negative space and sharp lines. The striking contrast between the black and white tones creates a modern look that acts as a focal point in any room without overwhelming the existing decor.

Its clean, minimalist aesthetic is balanced by the natural texture of the wool, adding visual depth to the floor. The linear pattern provides a sense of order and structure, making it a versatile choice for contemporary interiors.

This rug is hand-woven by skilled artisans in India, a process that requires significant time, patience, and a deep understanding of textile techniques. By interlacing wool and cotton threads, the weavers create a robust and beautiful surface that showcases the human touch in every detail.

The creation of a single rug involves a labour-intensive approach where the weaver carefully manages the tension and alignment of the threads. Because this is a handmade item, each piece reflects the dedication of the maker, resulting in a unique character that machine-made alternatives simply cannot replicate.

The scale of effort involved means that it takes several days for a weaver to complete a single rug of this size. This commitment to traditional methods ensures that the final product is not only visually striking but also built to withstand the demands of everyday use in your home.

80% Wol
