Mondi - A Soft Haven for Your Home

Discover the tactile comfort of Mondi, a square rug featuring a sophisticated high and low pile texture that invites relaxation into any room.

The Mondi rug brings a sense of calm and tactile warmth to your living space. With its unique high and low pile construction, it creates a subtle depth that feels wonderful underfoot, making it a perfect choice for areas where you want to encourage comfort and relaxation.

Designed to be both beautiful and practical, this square rug is fully compatible with underfloor heating. This feature ensures that your home stays cosy throughout the colder months while you enjoy the soft surface of the rug.

The neutral tones are carefully chosen to blend seamlessly into a variety of home interiors, providing a grounding element that does not overwhelm your existing decor. Its understated look makes it an ideal foundation for both modern and classic furniture arrangements.

We prioritise safety and environmental responsibility in our products. This rug is certified to be free from harmful substances, giving you peace of mind that your home environment remains healthy for you and your family.

Design

The design of the Mondi rug focuses on texture rather than bold colour. By utilising varied pile heights, it creates a gentle, rhythmic pattern that catches the light and adds visual interest to the floor without dominating the room.

The soft white and off white palette enhances the clean, architectural feel of the geometric layout. This approach results in a versatile piece that feels both contemporary and inviting.

55% Polyester

Polyester is a popular synthetic fibre used in the textile industry thanks to its durability, lightness, and resistance to stains and moisture. Polyester rugs are typically durable, making them suitable for high-traffic areas. They have a nice sheen that gives a luxurious and soft impression to the room.

30% Jute

Jute is a natural material that consists of a long, soft and shiny plant fibre that can be spun into coarse and strong threads. Jute rugs are known for their natural texture, which makes them durable and highly resistant to wear and tear. They also have a higher sound insulation effect than for example synthetic rugs. Jute rugs are a sustainable option since they can be recycled and are biodegradable. The material is sensitive to moisture, therefore jute rugs should only be used indoors or outdoors under a roof.

15% Polypropylene

Polypropylene is a synthetic fibre used in the manufacturing of rugs. The material is durable and long-lasting, and it is also suitable for underfloor heating due to its ability to withstand high temperatures. Rugs made from polypropylene are ideal for people with allergies as the material does not contain any natural fibres that may cause allergic reactions. Another advantage of polypropylene is its antistatic properties, which means it does not attract dust or shed, making them easy to clean and maintain. Additionally, polypropylene has a wool-like feel and lustre, providing an elegant and soft surface.

Maintenance

Use a conventional hoover instead of a robotic cleaner to prevent any damage to the rug.
If you discover a loose thread on your rug, use scissors to gently cut it off. Avoid pulling the thread to prevent damage.
To remove any excess fibres, use a soft brush.
Shake the rug outdoors to remove any excess dirt or debris.

Installation

Fold marks may occur during transport. This is not a manufacturing defect and is easy to remedy. Simply turn your rug over, roll it tightly, and leave it for a few hours. Finally, lay out your rug and wait a few days until your rug lays flat against the floor.
As you unpack your new rug, you may notice a slight smell, which is due to the rug being tightly packed during transport. This is normal and will go away after a few days.
Make sure your floor is completely dry before placing the rug.
Please be aware that trapped dirt, dust, or dampness under a rug may cause marks or scratches on sensitive floors.

For hard-to-remove stains, we recommend you contact a professional rug cleaner.
