Design

The design features a captivating, textured surface characterised by a series of raised, drop-like forms. This structured pattern creates a dynamic visual play of light and shadow that changes depending on your perspective in the room.

A vibrant multicolour palette is woven throughout, introducing a cheerful yet balanced aesthetic. The subtle interplay of various hues against the natural base makes it an easy piece to style, adding a touch of personality to your floors without overwhelming your existing decor.

This rug is meticulously hand-woven by skilled artisans, a process that requires immense focus and patience. Each runner is carefully constructed on a traditional loom, where the weaver manually interlaces the wool pile with a sturdy cotton base to ensure long-lasting structural integrity.

Creating a rug of this complexity is a significant undertaking that reflects the dedication behind our Rugvista Premium range. Because each piece is made by hand, the artisan spends considerable time ensuring the consistency of the structured surface and the even distribution of the multicoloured wool. This human element is what gives the runner its unique soul and lasting value.

The time and skill invested in hand-weaving ensure a level of detail that machine-made alternatives cannot replicate. By working with experienced craftspeople, we ensure that the final product is not only beautiful but also built to withstand the demands of daily life. This commitment to traditional methods is central to the identity and quality of every piece we produce.

Maintenance

This rug is handmade with a looped pile, which makes it more prone to snagging. Hoover carefully and keep it away from sharp objects, as these can pull the loops out of place and cause uneven wear.
To prevent shading and uneven wear, frequently rotate your rug.
Use a conventional hoover instead of a robotic cleaner to prevent any damage to the rug.
For best results and a longer-lasting rug, we recommend shaking the rug instead of hoovering. If needed, hoover carefully using gentle suction to avoid stressing the pile.
If you discover a loose thread on your rug, use scissors to gently cut it off. Avoid pulling the thread to prevent damage.
Rug suitable for use with underfloor heating (max. 27°C).
You may notice some shedding on your rug - this is completely normal and a sign of its high-quality natural fibres. The shedding will gradually lessen over time and does not affect the rug’s quality or lifespan. Regular hoovering with gentle suction and occasional brushing will help manage loose fibres and keep your rug looking beautiful for years to come.
Shake the rug outdoors to remove any excess dirt or debris.

Installation

For added safety, stability and floor protection, we recommend using an anti-slip pad underneath the rug (sold separately).
Fold marks may occur during transport. This is not a manufacturing defect and is easy to remedy. Simply turn your rug over, roll it tightly, and leave it for a few hours. Finally, lay out your rug and wait a few days until your rug lays flat against the floor.
As you unpack your new rug, you may notice a slight smell, which is due to the rug being tightly packed during transport. This is normal and will go away after a few days.
Make sure your floor is completely dry before placing the rug.
Please be aware that trapped dirt, dust, or dampness under a rug may cause marks or scratches on sensitive floors.

For hard-to-remove stains, we recommend you contact a professional rug cleaner.
