Design

The design of this rug is defined by its minimalist, single-coloured appearance and clean square shape. The subtle texture of the weave adds a gentle visual depth without overwhelming the space, allowing it to blend seamlessly into any room.

Its neutral white palette offers a bright and fresh aesthetic that promotes a sense of calm. The simplicity of the design makes it an ideal choice for those who prefer an understated, balanced look in their home.

This rug is created through a traditional hand-woven process, a technique that requires significant skill and patience. Artisans carefully manage the loom to ensure a consistent tension and a refined, uniform surface. The human effort involved in this process gives the rug its unique character and structural integrity.

Producing a hand-woven rug of this size is a time-intensive project that takes our skilled artisans several days to complete. Each thread is placed with intention, ensuring a level of durability that mass-produced alternatives cannot replicate. This hands-on approach ensures that every detail is managed with care and expertise.

By choosing a hand-woven piece, you are supporting traditional craftsmanship that has been refined over generations. The result is a high-quality, long-lasting product that brings a human touch to your living space. We prioritise this slow, manual method to ensure that the final result meets our standards for endurance and finish.

80% Wool

Wool is a fantastic natural fibre with many benefits, it is durable and hard-wearing, which means that a rug made from wool can be used for several generations and maintain its quality. They are an excellent choice for keeping your rooms warm during the cold winter months and can reduce noise from everyday life. The material also has a natural dirt-repellent effect which makes wool rugs easy to keep clean. Wool has a natural elasticity, which means that when the pile is pressed down, it can easily bounce back to its original shape.

20% Cotton

Cotton is a natural material that makes them a suitable option for people with allergies. The material is soft, durable and resilient, which makes them practical and comfortable for high-traffic areas such as the hallway, kitchen, and bathroom.

Maintenance

To prevent shading and uneven wear, frequently rotate your rug.
Use a conventional hoover instead of a robotic cleaner to prevent any damage to the rug.
If you discover a loose thread on your rug, use scissors to gently cut it off. Avoid pulling the thread to prevent damage.
Shake the rug outdoors to remove any excess dirt or debris.

Installation

Fold marks may occur during transport. This is not a manufacturing defect and is easy to remedy. Simply turn your rug over, roll it tightly, and leave it for a few hours. Finally, lay out your rug and wait a few days until your rug lays flat against the floor.
As you unpack your new rug, you may notice a slight smell, which is due to the rug being tightly packed during transport. This is normal and will go away after a few days.
Make sure your floor is completely dry before placing the rug.
We recommend using an anti-slip mat with this rug, as color migration may occur onto light-colored floors.
Please be aware that trapped dirt, dust, or dampness under a rug may cause marks or scratches on sensitive floors.

Cleaning instructions

Do this

Spot clean only.
Address spills promptly to minimize staining. Blot the affected area gently with a damp, undyed cloth—never rub, as this may embed the stain further into the fibers. Protect the floor beneath the rug by ensuring it's properly covered during the cleaning process.
We recommend that you use Rugvista Stain Remover for this type of rug.
For hard-to-remove stains, we recommend you contact a professional rug cleaner.

Avoid this
