Handloom Flat - Soft Tonal Harmony

A minimalist round rug with subtle texture and a soft pink palette that adds gentle warmth to your space.

Crafted predominantly from wool, this hand woven rug brings natural warmth and quiet texture to your living space. The dense, flat surface feels grounded underfoot while offering a smooth and understated feel that naturally anchors surrounding furniture.

Designed with a slender profile, this low-pile piece fits easily under low-hanging doors and furniture legs without snagging. Its subtle horizontal texture catches the light gently, giving depth to the flat weave without introducing visual clutter.

Suitable for rooms with underfloor heating, the natural fibers allow heat to rise through the rug comfortably without damaging the structure. This makes it a practical choice for living rooms, bedrooms, or dining spaces where everyday comfort is key.

Originating from India, this piece is rooted in long-standing weaving traditions. The subtle tonal variations inherent in natural wool give each rug its own quiet character while remaining simple and versatile.

Design

Featuring a simple single-coloured composition, this circular design focuses entirely on tone and texture. Fine horizontal lines run softly across the surface, giving the flat weave a subtle rhythmic detail while keeping the overall look clean and minimalist.

The soft pink shade brings a calm, welcoming feel to any room. Its round shape helps break up rigid lines in modern interiors, creating a natural focal point that pairs effortlessly with neutral furniture and warm wood tones.

Hand woven by skilled artisans in India, this rug represents hours of manual work and traditional craft knowledge. Every thread is woven tightly by hand to create a smooth, resilient structure that holds its shape over time.

Creating a round flat weave of this size requires precise tension control at every stage. Weavers carefully align the fibers to ensure the circular edge stays flat and clean, creating a finished piece that feels solid and well-made.

The handloom weaving process gives the surface a subtle tactile variation that machine production cannot match. Investing in a hand woven piece brings the time, skill, and care of authentic craftsmanship into your home.

Maintenance

To prevent shading and uneven wear, frequently rotate your rug.
Use a conventional hoover instead of a robotic cleaner to prevent any damage to the rug.
If you discover a loose thread on your rug, use scissors to gently cut it off. Avoid pulling the thread to prevent damage.
Shake the rug outdoors to remove any excess dirt or debris.

Installation

Fold marks may occur during transport. This is not a manufacturing defect and is easy to remedy. Simply turn your rug over, roll it tightly, and leave it for a few hours. Finally, lay out your rug and wait a few days until your rug lays flat against the floor.
As you unpack your new rug, you may notice a slight smell, which is due to the rug being tightly packed during transport. This is normal and will go away after a few days.
Make sure your floor is completely dry before placing the rug.
We recommend using an anti-slip mat with this rug, as color migration may occur onto light-colored floors.
Please be aware that trapped dirt, dust, or dampness under a rug may cause marks or scratches on sensitive floors.

Cleaning instructions

Do this

Spot clean only.
Address spills promptly to minimize staining. Blot the affected area gently with a damp, undyed cloth—never rub, as this may embed the stain further into the fibers. Protect the floor beneath the rug by ensuring it's properly covered during the cleaning process.
We recommend that you use Rugvista Stain Remover for this type of rug.
For hard-to-remove stains, we recommend you contact a professional rug cleaner.
