Designed with modern living in mind, this piece is fully compatible with underfloor heating, allowing you to enjoy extra warmth on chilly days without compromise. Its thick, plush surface also helps to absorb sound, contributing to a quieter and more serene atmosphere in your home.

As part of our Rugvista Premium selection, this rug represents a commitment to both style and responsible production. It is a thoughtful addition to any interior, blending functional durability with a design that feels both considered and timeless.

Design

The design features a series of sweeping, undulating bands that mimic the natural movement of stone or flowing water. The colour palette is a harmonious blend of muted tones, combining soft pinks, warm ochres, gentle greens, and subtle blues to create a balanced, artistic look.

Its round silhouette softens the lines of a room, providing a perfect contrast to the straight edges of furniture. The pattern is fluid and abstract, designed to draw the eye without overwhelming your existing decor.

Each Marble rug is carefully hand-tufted by skilled artisans in India, a process that requires both patience and precision. By using a tufting gun to punch loops of Wool into a Cotton backing, these craftspeople create a consistent and plush pile that defines the rug's character.

The creation of this piece is a labour-intensive endeavour, with the artisan following the complex, flowing lines of the design by hand. This dedication to the craft ensures that each rug is finished to a high standard, reflecting the human touch and expertise involved in its making.

Given the level of detail and the scale of the design, it takes a significant amount of time for an artisan to complete a single rug. This investment of skill and effort is what gives the finished product its unique, tactile quality and enduring appeal.

80% Wool

Wool is a fantastic natural fibre with many benefits, it is durable and hard-wearing, which means that a rug made from wool can be used for several generations and maintain its quality. They are an excellent choice for keeping your rooms warm during the cold winter months and can reduce noise from everyday life. The material also has a natural dirt-repellent effect which makes wool rugs easy to keep clean. Wool has a natural elasticity, which means that when the pile is pressed down, it can easily bounce back to its original shape.

20% Cotton

Cotton is a natural material that makes them a suitable option for people with allergies. The material is soft, durable and resilient, which makes them practical and comfortable for high-traffic areas such as the hallway, kitchen, and bathroom.

Maintenance

To prevent shading and uneven wear, frequently rotate your rug.
Use a conventional hoover instead of a robotic cleaner to prevent any damage to the rug.
If you discover a loose thread on your rug, use scissors to gently cut it off. Avoid pulling the thread to prevent damage.
You may notice some shedding on your rug - this is completely normal and a sign of its high-quality natural fibres. The shedding will gradually lessen over time and does not affect the rug’s quality or lifespan. Regular hoovering with gentle suction and occasional brushing will help manage loose fibres and keep your rug looking beautiful for years to come.
Shake the rug outdoors to remove any excess dirt or debris.

Installation

For added safety, stability and floor protection, we recommend using an anti-slip pad underneath the rug (sold separately).
Fold marks may occur during transport. This is not a manufacturing defect and is easy to remedy. Simply turn your rug over, roll it tightly, and leave it for a few hours. Finally, lay out your rug and wait a few days until your rug lays flat against the floor.
As you unpack your new rug, you may notice a slight smell, which is due to the rug being tightly packed during transport. This is normal and will go away after a few days.
Make sure your floor is completely dry before placing the rug.
Please be aware that trapped dirt, dust, or dampness under a rug may cause marks or scratches on sensitive floors.

Cleaning instructions

Do this

Spot clean only.
Address spills promptly to minimize staining. Blot the affected area gently with a damp, undyed cloth—never rub, as this may embed the stain further into the fibers. Protect the floor beneath the rug by ensuring it's properly covered during the cleaning process.
We recommend that you use Rugvista Stain Remover for this type of rug.
For hard-to-remove stains, we recommend you contact a professional rug cleaner.
