As part of our Essential collection, the Safi rug represents a considered choice for those who value functional design. Its ability to transition seamlessly between indoor and outdoor use provides a flexible solution for any modern home layout.

Design

Featuring a striking geometric pattern, this rug uses a classic combination of blue and white to create visual interest without overwhelming your decor. The balanced composition draws the eye to the centre, making it a natural focal point for any room.

The clean lines and structured aesthetic give the rug a contemporary feel that complements a wide range of interior styles. Its crisp design works effectively to add character to both minimalist spaces and more eclectic home setups.

100% Polypropylene

Polypropylene is a synthetic fibre used in the manufacturing of rugs. The material is durable and long-lasting, and it is also suitable for underfloor heating due to its ability to withstand high temperatures. Rugs made from polypropylene are ideal for people with allergies as the material does not contain any natural fibres that may cause allergic reactions. Another advantage of polypropylene is its antistatic properties, which means it does not attract dust or shed, making them easy to clean and maintain. Additionally, polypropylene has a wool-like feel and lustre, providing an elegant and soft surface.

Maintenance

To prevent shading and uneven wear, frequently rotate your rug.
Use a conventional hoover instead of a robotic cleaner to prevent any damage to the rug.
If you discover a loose thread on your rug, use scissors to gently cut it off. Avoid pulling the thread to prevent damage.
To maintain the quality of your rug, avoid leaving it damp for a long time without ensuring that it dries completely. This will help protect both the rug and the surface beneath.
Shake the rug outdoors to remove any excess dirt or debris.

Installation

Fold marks may occur during transport. This is not a manufacturing defect and is easy to remedy. Simply turn your rug over, roll it tightly, and leave it for a few hours. Finally, lay out your rug and wait a few days until your rug lays flat against the floor.
As you unpack your new rug, you may notice a slight smell, which is due to the rug being tightly packed during transport. This is normal and will go away after a few days.
Make sure your floor is completely dry before placing the rug.

Washing instructions

Do this

Handwash
Line dry with good air circulation all around.
Make sure the rug is completely dry before placing it back on the floor.
Address spills promptly to minimize staining. Blot the affected area gently with a damp, undyed cloth—never rub, as this may embed the stain further into the fibers. Protect the floor beneath the rug by ensuring it's properly covered during the cleaning process.
We recommend that you use Rugvista Stain Remover for this type of rug.
For hard-to-remove stains, we recommend you contact a professional rug cleaner.

Avoid this

Do not bleach.
Do not tumble dry.
Do not iron.
Do not dry clean.
