Design

The design of this runner is defined by a subtle checked pattern that creates a balanced, rhythmic visual effect. The interplay between beige and white tones highlights the natural texture of the Wool, giving the surface a soft and inviting appearance.

Completed with delicate fringes at both ends, the design embraces a clean and straightforward aesthetic. Its understated look makes it an ideal choice for adding a touch of warmth to any room without cluttering the space.

Each Cuadro runner is carefully hand-woven by skilled artisans in India. This traditional method requires patience and precision, as the Wool is interlaced on a loom to create the consistent, durable structure that defines this piece.

The process of hand-weaving allows for a unique finish that machine-made alternatives cannot replicate. By working with their hands, artisans ensure that the tension and weave remain uniform across the entire length of the runner, resulting in a product that is both robust and refined.

Creating a runner of this size involves significant time and human effort, reflecting the dedication behind each finished piece. This commitment to traditional craft is what gives the rug its authentic character and ensures it remains a valued part of your home for years to come.

Maintenance

To prevent shading and uneven wear, frequently rotate your rug.
Use a conventional hoover instead of a robotic cleaner to prevent any damage to the rug.
If you discover a loose thread on your rug, use scissors to gently cut it off. Avoid pulling the thread to prevent damage.
Avoid hoovering directly over the fringes, as the suction and brushes can catch the threads and cause damage.
Shake the rug outdoors to remove any excess dirt or debris.

Installation

Fold marks may occur during transport. This is not a manufacturing defect and is easy to remedy. Simply turn your rug over, roll it tightly, and leave it for a few hours. Finally, lay out your rug and wait a few days until your rug lays flat against the floor.
As you unpack your new rug, you may notice a slight smell, which is due to the rug being tightly packed during transport. This is normal and will go away after a few days.
Make sure your floor is completely dry before placing the rug.
We recommend using an anti-slip mat with this rug, as color migration may occur onto light-colored floors.
Please be aware that trapped dirt, dust, or dampness under a rug may cause marks or scratches on sensitive floors.
